Technical Committee Announces:
New Head Coaches of Iranian National Teams Appointed
The Technical Committee of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation has appointed Morteza Karimi and Maryam Azarmehr as the Head Coach of the Iranian National Male and Female Teams, respectively, to lead the Iranian squads in the 2013 World Taekwondo Championships, to be held in Mexico.
Also on the sidelines of Iran's Female Taekwondo League, the Technical Committee of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation appointed Fatemeh Safarpour and Azadeh Yasayi as the coaches of the Iranian National Female Team.
Morteza Karimi previously led his teams to become the Champion in the 7th CISM Championships in 1995; 2nd place in the 12th Asian Taekwondo Championships, 4th place in 13th World Taekwondo Championships in 1997 in Hong Kong, 2nd place in the13th Asian Games in 1998 in Thailand, 2nd place in the14th World Taekwondo Championships in 1999 in Canada, Champion of 2000 Lion World Cup, 3rd place in South Korrea's 2002 14th Asian Games, 2nd place in the 16th World Taekwondo Championships in 2033 in Germany, 2nd place in the 15th Asian Games in 2006 in Qatar, and 2nd place in the 18th World Taekwondo Championships in 2007 in Beijing, China.
