Iran's Sports and Youth Minister has highlighted the role the Islamic Revolution in Iran has had on changing the path of world communities.
Dr. Mohammad Abbasi, who was addressing a ceremony to commemorate the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Late Ayatollah Khomeini in his
mausoleum, also renewed the loyalty of the Iranian sports community to the ideals and principals of the Islamic revolution.
Abbasi further stated that the Late Imam also opened a new door to human kinds, which has now led to the wave of the Islamic awakening
throughout the Muslim world. He said the Islamic revolution in Iran,which toppled the Pahlavi Dynasty, has now put a new outlook before
the global community so that the peace and freedom-loving people can fight against tyranny and hegemony.
He further advised the Iranian youth and athletes to appreciate the concept of the revolution and try their best to safeguard its foundations.
