Greece's National Taekwondo Team head coach, Henk Mayer, has lauded the Iranian Taekwondo team as the best in the world, predicting a handful of medals for Tehran in the coming up Asian games
The Greek National Taekwondo Team, which landed in Tehran last week, has already set up its camp along with Iran's national team and several other Iranian league teams
Mayer, who also observed Iran's team performance in the camp, told Iran's Taekwondo Federation's public relations office that the sport is a popular one in Iran and that accounts for its massive global success. The well experienced coach also highlighted the presence of Iranian coaches in the camps, saying Iran enjoys the talent while most other world teams now have hired Korean ones
