Gilan Team Tops Azerbaijan Tournament
Another Iranian club represents the country's supremacy in Taekwondo after standing atop other world teams in Azerbaijan International Taekwondo Tournament. The Iranian squad grabbed 5 golds, 1 silver, and 5 bronze medals during the competitions in the Azeri Capital of Baku.
Gilan's Sajad Khosh Sirat, Kaveh Babayi, Afshin Saket, and Saeed Qoli Nejad (in males') and Dina Pour Yones (in females') grabbed the golds. Farima Sasani (females') got a silver. Meanwhile, Arman Atayi (males') got a bronze, along with Mahtab Iraji, Mahsa Abdollahi, Bahare Bidari, and Zahra Hadizadeh, who won other bronzes in the females' category.
